Second Story Designs realizes that there isn't any service available to home owners to act as that "friend in the business".  It's hard enough weeding through all the industry babble to get down to the basics, you don't need to feel pressured in one direction just because your helper wants to sell you something specific.  Second Story Designs will either come to your home or offer advice by phone to help you work through your problems. 

We also know that sometimes there are issues that we just can't help you with.  If we can't help, you don't owe us a thing.  Of course, there are cases where "it's not possible" is a valid answer, but if there is a situation in which we don't have the knowledge to answer the question ourselves we won't make you shoulder that risk.  We will make every attempt to find that answer by calling on our industry contacts as well as our own external research to help find that answer if you direct us to do so.
